1、什么是埃博拉出血热?

埃博拉出血热是由埃博拉病毒引起的一种急性出血性传染病,感染埃博拉病毒的人和灵长类动物(如黑猩猩)为本病传染源。目前认为埃博拉病毒的自然宿主为果蝠。

 

2、感染埃博拉出血热有什么临床症状?

潜伏期2-21天。典型症状包括:(1)发热;(2)呕吐,有时含血液;(3)腹泻,有时为血便;(4)出血(如鼻血、牙龈出血);(5)肌肉及关节疼痛;(6)皮疹。

 

3、埃博拉出血热是如何传播的?

1)接触病人或被感染动物的伤口、血液或其它体液、分泌物、呕吐物、粪便、尿液及其污染物等,经皮肤、呼吸道或结膜感染。

2)不卫生的注射,或使用病人使用过的穿刺工具。

3)无个人安全防护情况下处理埃博拉出血热病人尸体。

4)食用野生动物肉类,尤其是猴子、黑猩猩、果蝠,或其它死动物。

5)食用被果蝠或其它野生动物啃咬过的水果。

 

4、在疫区的中国公民应该做什么?

1)养成经常洗手习惯;接触病人后及时用肥皂洗手。

2)勿用不洁的手接触眼睛、鼻子和嘴巴。

3)避免吃野生动物肉,尤其是猴子、黑猩猩、果蝠的肉类。

4)避免吃被果蝠或其它野生动物啃咬过的水果。

5)避免与来自疫区的发热病人接触。

6)怀疑感染埃博拉出血热,应及时到最近的医疗机构诊治。

7)回国后应主动接受当地疾病预防控制中心的健康指导,居家医学观察21天。

 

5、在疫区的投资合作企业应该做什么?

1)加强营地和工地消毒防护工作。

2)加强人员进出管理,禁止当地无关人员进入。

3)减少非必要人员,暂缓组团前往疫区。

4)对可疑埃博拉出血热病例的接触者,每日早晚各测量1次体温,持续3周;如出现发热等可疑症状,及时安排就医。

5)加强健康宣教,提高防护能力,避免产生不必要恐慌。

6)及时登记回国人员姓名、航班、到达时间、入境口岸等信息,提前告知入境口岸检验检疫部门及户籍所在地商务局、疾病预防控制中心。

Reminders ofEbola Hemorrhagic Fever prevention for Chinese Citizens in Epidemic Areas

1. What is Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever?

Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever is an acute hemorrhagic diseasecaused by Ebola virusinfection. Human beings and primates(such aschimpanzees)infected with Ebola virus are the sources of infection. Thefruit bat is now considered as the naturalreservoir of Ebolavirus.

 

2.What are the signs and symptoms of Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever?

The incubation period of Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever is 2-21days.The signs and symptoms of infection include:

(1) Fever;

(2) Vomiting, sometimes bloody;

(3) Diarrhea, sometimes bloody;

(4) Bleeding, such as nosebleed,gumbleeding;

(5) Muscle or joint pain;

(6) Skin rash.

 

3. How is Ebola virus transmitted?

The Ebola virus is spread through:

(1)Direct contactwith wounds andbody fluidsincludingblood, saliva, vomitus, stool, urine of infected persons or their contaminants; and infected through skin, respiratory tract or conjunctiva.

(2)Un-sterilized injections or use skin piercing instruments which have been used by an infected person.

(3)Direct physical handling of bodiesthatdied from Eboladisease without personal protection.

(4)Eat meats of wild animals, especially for monkeys, chimpanzees, bats or dead animals.

(5)Eat fruits that bats or wild animals have partly eaten.

 

4. What should Chinese citizens do in epidemic areas?

(1)Wash hands frequently, immediately wash hands with soap after touching a sick person.

(2) Avoid touching eyes,nose and mouth with un-cleaned hands.

(3)Avoid eating meats of wild animals especially for monkeys, chimpanzees and bats.

(4) Avoid eating fruits that bats or wild animals have partly eaten.

(5) Avoid touching with fever patients come from epidemic areas.

(6)Persons suspected to be suffering from Ebola disease should be referred to the nearest health facility immediately.

(7) Accept health guidance from local Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) after returning back from epidemic areas, home quarantine for 21 days.

 

5.What should Chinese enterprises/organizationsdo in epidemic areas?

(1)Strengthen the measures of disinfection and protection in residence and working sites.

(2)Reinforce the management of entering and leaving; prohibitthe entry of irrelevant persons.

(3)Reduce non-essential personnel,postponedgroup travels to epidemic areas.

(4)Check body temperaturefor those who have contactedwith Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever patients twice/day (morning and evening) for 3 weeks. Arrange close contacted person for medical treatment immediately if suspicious symptoms (such as fever) occur.

(5)Strengthen health education and improve the ability of self –protection, avoid unnecessary panic.

(6)Register the information (name, flight number, arrival time, port of entry) of persons who arereturning back, and notice the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of entry port, as well as Business Bureau and CDC of their registered residence areas in advance.
